Biography

Dr. Malek Alaouie is a highly accomplished Certified Industrial Hygienist and Certified Indoor Environmentalist with over 17 years of experience in industrial hygiene, operations management, aerobiology, and indoor environmental quality (IEQ). His expertise spans a wide range of sectors, including occupational health and safety, indoor air quality, and environmental infection control, with projects across the US, the Middle East, and Europe.

Dr. Alaouie specializes in occupational exposure assessments, health and safety program development, engineering controls evaluation, and job hazard analysis. He has particular expertise in environmental infection control, focusing on clean room environments and high-containment laboratories. His aerobiology work includes outdoor aeroallergen research and investigations.

Dedicated to advancing both health and environmental sustainability, Dr. Alaouie’s doctoral research focused on environmental exposure and sustainable technologies designed to improve indoor air quality in underserved communities.
