Biography
Larry Schmieder joined the insurance industry with State Farm in 1993 as an estimator after working in the construction field. During his time with State Farm, he worked my way up from estimator to adjuster and then Large Loss Adjuster with a stop at State Farm Claim School along the way. In 2001 he moved to Decker Associates, one of the premier independent adjusting firms on the east coast. At Decker, Schmieder handled claims for multiple insurers which provided an invaluable learning experience. During his time at Decker, he worked many east coast CATs including Superstorm Sandy and achieved the title of Complex Loss Specialist before leaving Decker in 2016 to start his own consulting company.
