Biography
James is a Senior Project Engineer with over 20 years of construction and engineering experience including structural design for buildings using the fundamental construction materials such as wood, steel, metal, concrete, and masonry. He has researched, developed and created company standards for forensic evaluation of building materials and systems, structural engineering design, and structural construction documents for various materials and quality assurance/control standards. He has managed the construction of numerous building materials including unique structural steel systems, specialty reinforced concrete systems (above and below grade), and various building envelope components specific to air, water, heat, and noise transfer while ensuring that construction and material standards were met for multiple sized projects.
