Biography
Kyle Wickins is a civil and structural consulting engineer with over 10 years of experience providing forensic assessments, technical reports, and advisory services to insurers, legal teams, and private clients. At YA Group, he leads investigations and delivers reports on a wide range of civil and structural issues across the built environment.
Kyle’s expertise includes stormwater management (SuDS), drainage systems, pavements, regulatory compliance assessments, damage surveys, and material testing reviews. His project experience spans heritage buildings, luxury and medium-rise residential properties, industrial facilities, hospitals, schools, and supporting infrastructure.
He also has a research background in sustainable construction practices and material reuse, and has lectured part-time for 7 years, co-developing a capstone engineering course focused on integrating sustainability into design.
Kyle has worked in Australia, Bahrain, England, Namibia, Sierra Leone, and South Africa.
