Biography

Quentin Commander is a seasoned Accident Reconstructionist with a distinguished background in law enforcement and public safety, including 6 years of military service in the U.S. Army and 26 years in public safety, with 18 years dedicated to accident investigations and forensic reconstruction. He is ACTAR-accredited in accident reconstruction, a credential that reflects his extensive expertise in the field.

Quentin served as a Senior Corporal with the Montgomery Police Department / Traffic Division, where he oversaw major accident reconstructions, with a particular focus on commercial motor vehicle (CMV) incidents. As the department’s lead expert in Crash Data Retrieval (CDR) analysis and reconstruction, he utilized advanced tools and techniques to provide precise, data-driven insights into traffic collisions.

Throughout his career, Quentin led numerous high-profile investigations, reconstructing complex crashes, including those involving heavy trucks and other commercial vehicles. His deep understanding of accident dynamics, combined with his proficiency in CDR systems and crash simulation technologies, enabled him to deliver reliable and detailed analyses used in both criminal and civil cases. His ability to interpret and present technical data has made him a trusted expert witness, frequently called to testify in court regarding the cause and reconstruction of traffic accidents.

In addition to his investigative work, Quentin was responsible for training and mentoring junior officers and traffic investigators, ensuring his department remained at the forefront of forensic investigation practices.
