Biography

Brian Lawn, P.E., joined YA Group in 2021 as a Regional Consultant, bringing extensive construction management experience. He has managed projects from $1 million to $100 million across sectors like heavy civil, utility infrastructure, commercial, and residential construction. A licensed Professional Engineer in Pennsylvania and the District of Columbia, he provides consulting on property damage claims of all sizes.

Brian has worked with insurance carriers on residential policies, complex claims, builder’s risk, and subrogation matters, as well as attorneys on litigation files. His expertise includes scope assessment, estimating, cost audits, schedule analysis, and change management. He is proficient in interpreting construction contracts, drawings, specifications, and engineering reports for accurate evaluations.
