Biography

Prior to joining the team at Young & Associates as the Director of Cyber and Risk Mitigation, Drew Bazemore served as the Director of the Digital Evidence Forensic Lab (DEFL) in the Orlando Field Office with the United States Secret Service. His career with the Secret Service began in 1999 as a Special Agent in the Albuquerque Field Office and in 2002, he was transferred to the Washington DC Field Office. In 2004, he was assigned to the Vice-Presidential Protective Division (VPPD) and was tasked with a multitude of protective assignments until 2008. Soon after being transferred to the Orlando Field Office, Drew was accepted into the Electronic Crimes Special Agent Program (ECSAP) and was certified to conduct investigations in the fast-paced world of electronic crimes. His dedication to this demanding field within the Secret Service was evidenced by the plethora of disciplines he mastered related to digital forensics and the complex cases he managed over the years. In 2021, he was promoted to Director of the DEFL in Orlando and managed a team of digital forensic and network intrusion examiners. During his tenure in Orlando, he was a Certified Computer Forensic Examiner, deemed a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the field of Cyber Security by the USSS and regarded an expert witness in the field of digital forensics by the Federal Courts. Additionally, Drew frequently served as a keynote speaker, SME, and panelist at area events regarding cyber awareness and cyber hygiene. Drew graduated from Georgia Southern University with a Bachelor’s in Justice Studies, served as a Deputy Sheriff in Camden County, Georgia, and as a US Border Patrol Agent, in Las Cruces, NM before joining the United States Secret Service.
